Perhaps Today Facts-n-Findings

Do you know the first question in the Old Testament and the first question in the New Testament? Who did the asking, and what they said, will simply amaze you!

The first question in the Old Testament can be found in Genesis 3:9. God is speaking to Adam and Eve after the fall saying “Where are you?” The first question in the New Testament is found in Matthew 2:2. The Magi are asking King Herod, “Where is the one who has been born King of the Jews? We saw his star in the East and we have come to worship him.”

It is compelling that the first question is God asking, “Where are the sinners?” and the second question is the sinners asking, “Where is God?”!!

The New Testament is given to tell us about a coming Savior and the Old Testament is to tell us when he came. Humans have lofty images of themselves sometimes. We would be wise to understand God sees it all and he has a plan that is far greater than anything we could EVER imagine! He even orchestrated, over thousands of years, a simple question that has such deep implications!!
