About Our Counselor
Cheryl Ciambotti is a licensed minister, a gifted counselor, a substitute teacher for Adult Bible Fellowship Classes and Founder of Perhaps Today Ministries International, Inc. She also officiates in weddings and funerals, does public speaking, disciple’s individuals and has also taught for years in local Bible studies. In 2013 she officially retired form her teaching career to become a full time staff member at PTM. She most recently completed her studies to be a PA State Certified Recovery Specialist which is a great asset to her ministry.
Cheryl has not had an easy life. On the contrary, there are few areas of life with which people come that she herself does not have an intimate knowledge based on her own experiences. This gives her an advantage, in that, she can truly relate to her clients. Her life experiences have strengthened her ability to counsel a vast array of situations. To this end, Cheryl maintains, “I don’t have a Ph.D in counseling, the only masters degree I have is from The Master!”
The calling Cheryl has been given is to minister in Christian Spiritual counseling to hurting and lost people, to help them discover grace, point them to the Lord Jesus Christ, teach them about the rich and vast information found in the Bible and help them discover how to heal themselves.
Some specific issues Cheryl commonly works with are:
low self-worth, depression, anxiety, alcoholism & effects of living or loving an addicted person.
Other areas she provides services for are:
family counseling, spiritual growth, stress management, conflict resolution, Christian marriage counseling, pre-martial counseling and communication skills.
Outside the office Cheryl is an avid reader involved in the Redland Library’s Book Club, mother of a blessed family of five and a grandmother of two. She has been married twice and currently she and her husband have been married for 9 years. Gardening and marveling at nature are some of her favorite pastimes, as well as reading her Bible, spending time with family, learning about history, listening to music and talking with friends.
